SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT FUND
July 7, 2014
A SPECIAL MEETING of the Board of Trustees of the Police & Firemen Pension Fund and the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund was held on Monday, July 7, 2014 in the City Hall Auditorium.
Those in attendance included Mayor Elinor Carbone, Corporation Counsel Raymond Rigat, City Treasurer Arthur Mattiello, members of the Board of Trustees of the City Employees Retirement Fund Paul Cavagnero, Gregg Cogswell, Anne Ruwet, Paul Samele, Drake Waldron and Christopher Anderson, Ray Drew and Mark Zordan.
Members Gail Sartori, John Schnyer, Nancy Michna and Mark Kugler were absent. Personnel Director Thomas Gritt was also present.
Mayor Carbone called the meeting to order at 6:54 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
On an amended motion by Councilor Cogswell, seconded by Councilor Samele, the Board voted unanimously to enter Executive Session at 6:55 p.m. under Labor Negotiations for UPSEU Local 424, Unit 78, inviting Atty. Rigat, Mr. Gritt and Mr. Drew.
OPEN SESSION
On a motion by Councilor Cogswell, seconded by Councilor Anderson, the Board voted unanimously to enter Open Session at 7:13 p.m.
AGREEMENT AND PENSION COMPUTATION: D. Winn
On a motion by Councilor Waldron, seconded by Councilor Cavagnero, the Board voted unanimously to accept a Memorandum of Agreement and Pension Computation effective November 15, 2014, for Donna Winn, Recreation Director, after 10 years of service.
PENSION COMPUTATION: N. Hodkoski
On a motion by Councilor Ruwet, seconded by Councilor Cogswell, the Board voted unanimously to accept a pension computation effective February 28, 2014, for Nancy Hodkoski, Director of Elderly Services, after having completed 30 years of service.
ADJOURNMENT
On a motion by Councilor Ruwet, seconded by Councilor Anderson, the meeting was adjourned at 7:14 p.m.
